runline compiles a structured blueprint to Opentrons OT-2 Python (API v2). The same protocol stays runnable by hand. Steps the compiler cannot automate become # MANUAL comments. That is honesty, not a silent skip. This is a product export, not an Opentrons partnership, certification, or co-marketing agreement.

Simulate-first: run this script in the Opentrons App simulation (or a dry-run) before any robot motion. runline does not certify deck layout, labware, or biosafety. You are responsible for reviewing every # MANUAL line and for local lab rules.

• Author the protocol in runline (starters or your own SOP).
• Run the steps by hand in a notebook, or export OT-2 Python from the protocol editor.
• Simulate-first, then review every # MANUAL line before any robot motion.
